Local Gallery Featured in National Magazine

Earthwood Artisans/Earthwood Collections is profiled as the feature gallery in the February 2007 edition of the national magazine, The Crafts Report.  The Crafts Report has noticed what many others across the country have seen, Estes Park is a great place for art and that Earthwood Artisans/Earthwood Collections are among the best galleries in the country.

The galleries, owned by Ron and Ann Wilcocks are located at 145 and 141 E. Elkhorn Avenue, are open daily and exclusively represent over 230 very talented artists in Estes Park.  Ron said, “Ann and I continued to be humbled by the consistent stream of accolades that our galleries are garnering nationally.  We feel that all involved, our great artists and our professional staff, deserve credit, too.  We cannot be successful all by ourselves; it takes talented artists, fair pricing and a tight team.  We love Estes Park and feel so good to be able to bring more of a national spotlight on our wonderful art community.  We are just very happy!”

The galleries offer a large selection of photography, jewelry, jewelry boxes, pottery, paintings, unique music, stained glass, blown glass, lamps, tapestries and weavings, sculpture, metal art, fine wood-working, kaleidoscopes, wind chimes and other fine handcrafted items.

Earthwood Artisans/Collections, a downtown Estes Park Gallery is nationally named a 2005 Top 100 Retailer of American Craft in the United States and Canada by Niche magazine and the Rosen Group.  The Earthwood Galleries recently won this same award in 2003!  "We are very honored that our flagship gallery has received such a prestigious national award for the second time in the last three years.  To be selected through the voting of thousands of artists from throughout the U.S. and Canada to be a Top 100 Gallery of American Art and Handcraft is amazing to us.  We love Estes Park and feel so good to be able to bring more of a national spotlight on our wonderful art community.  We are just very happy!”

Our Estes Park galleries offer a large selection of photography, jewelry, jewelry boxes, pottery, paintings, unique music, stained glass, blown glass, lamps, tapestries and weavings, sculpture, metal art, fine wood-working, kaleidoscopes, wind chimes and other fine handcrafted items.  We represent over 230 artists in our two downtown Estes Park galleries!

Ann and I believe in promoting and providing the highest quality art and handcrafts that we can find in the United States and offering them at a fair price.  We feel strongly that it is important to collaborate with the community and other local businesses to promote art in the greater Estes Park Valley.  Ron is the Vice President of the Cultural Arts Council of Estes Park.  This excellent non-profit organization works very hard to promote all forms of art and all artists in the greater Estes Valley.  Estes Park is a great and emerging art community.  There are so many talented artists in this area and Estes Park is becoming a destination for art of all kinds.

We feel that it is important to support local and new aspiring artists.  We work very hard to find and promote new artists.  We are especially proud to feature many local (Estes Park) and Colorado based artists in our galleries.  Both galleries are open year round.  Come to beautiful Estes Park and visit us.
